Sunset Beach Party – Sand in Your Toes, Music in the Air!

Say farewell to summer and hello to NECA 2012 Las Vegas at our Sunset Beach Party opening celebration, Saturday, Sept. 29 from 7:30-9:30 p.m.

Voted by Trip Advisor as one of the best pools in the U.S., Mandalay Bay’s 11-acre tropical Sand-and-Surf Beach will have you believing that you’re in the Caribbean as you greet old friends and make new ones. The Sunset Beach Party will be a time when you can kick off your sandals and dance in the sand to live beach music.

Grab a cocktail and check out the poolside entertainment cabanas where you’ll find Elvis and his showgirl sidekicks, Marilyn Monroe and other Vegas royalty. Meanwhile, Fire Twirlers, the Limbo King and other acts will keep convention-goers enthralled.

Tiki bars will be serving your favorite tropical drinks. You can find a quiet table at one of the ultra lounges, or head to beach with the kids to create a sand sculpture or dip your toes in one of the three beachfront pools. The menu will be fun and festive, with the thrill of the grill and grab-and-go food stations everywhere. Kids can enjoy a Willy Wonka-style candy buffet and sand games while you watch the lazy river glide by.
