Biography

Steve Rose

Steve has been involved in the Union electrical industry for over 42 years.

He worked for various contractors in leadership positions with a focus on planning, prefab, and packaging, until his retirement from Los Angeles local 11 in 2006.

He was a commercial electrical inspector for the City of Los Angeles from his retirement from Los Angeles Local 11 in 2006 until 2010.

He left the City in 2010 for the position of Field Support Services Manager for the Southern California region of Rosendin Electric until 2015.

He served as the Corporate Director of Prefab and Packaging for Rosendin Electric from 2015 until 2022.

He has been a recognized leader in the prefab and packaging space since 2000 and has presented at numerous industry conferences since 2017.

He has been with the Electrical Training Institute of Southern California since 1996, has taught all years of the program, and was a senior instructor coaching, mentoring, and serving instructors and students alike from 2015 to 2022.

He is now the Assistant Training Director overseeing education for the largest apprenticeship program in the United States.
