Securing Stimulus Funds for Electrical Contractors
An article in Energy Biz magazine describes some of the $65 billion energy projects and tax credits included in the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act. The economic stimulus includes $8.7 billion for energy efficiency improvement at federal facilities and $4.5 billion for smart grid projects.
NECA 2009 Seattle attendees can get additional insight into the economic stimulus, customized for the electrical construction industry at the management workshop, “How the Stimulus Can Electrify Your Business,” Sunday, Sept. 13, at 8 a.m. Lead by NECA’s government affairs team, the session will include an overview of ARRA tax provisions and appropriations, and the approach NECA is taking to ensure our contractors get the most from federal grants and contracts.
