Jim has 50+ years of experience in our Electrical Industry. He started as an indentured apprentice in 1969 and hasn’t worked at anything else since. He received his BA from the State University of New York.
Jim progressed up the ladder working in the field for 24 years as an apprentice, journeyman, foreman, general foreman and superintendent. In 1993 he became a Vice President overseeing estimating and project management. It wasn’t long before he became the President & CEO of a regional contractor in charge of all operations. Jim was the President of NECA Hudson Valley Chapter. Some of Jim’s achievements include: being a fellow in the NECA Academy of Electrical Contractors, Master Electrician licensed in New York City, New Jersey and Connecticut, a member of the National NECA Safety Task Force a member of the NECA Manual of Labor Units updating team and Faculty of the NECA Estimating Training.

As contractors and employees, we train for many things. How to motivate, how to handle business finances, how to be more efficient and productive. The one thing we don’t do a good job of is training for retirement.
This class will provide some insight into how to plan and look forward to a healthy, productive life beyond work. Anyone of any age should attend since developing the right habits for retirement starts years before that glorious day when we can truly enjoy the fruits of our labor.
