The use of building information modeling (BIM) and prefabrication is steadily increasing. Understanding conduit installation and the interaction with the prefabrication equipment is a must to improve efficiency and reduce costly errors. This session will explore various practices, tricks, and conduit bending limitations that should be considered in the design. Tools that focus on the conduit runs to optimize the layout will also be discussed.

Biography:

Larry is a highly respected Senior Product Manager known for his expertise in product development for the MEP trades. With 17 years of experience in the field, he has introduced a variety of new products that have made contractors more efficient from design to fabrication to installation on the job site.

Larry’s work has had a profound impact on MEP trades driven by a passion for identifying problems and bottle necks and translating the needs into innovative products. He has been instrumental in developing the Greenlee Bendworks Application and many other strategic products that improve jobsite efficiency.

Larry holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Toledo and has a Master’s Degree in Business from Cleveland State University.
