Joseph Cappeta

Joe Cappeta joins us with over 15 years of experience in the electrical industry. During his tenure with Eaton Joe has held roles spanning multiple functions and leadership positions.
Joe has designed and applied electrical power systems installed globally that integrate distributed energy resources, enable electrification of transport, back up critical data processing equipment, and distribute power to a world that is increasingly electrifying. Currently, Joe is the Director of Technical Applications for Energy Transition at Eaton.
Joe holds a B.S in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Georgetown University.

Joe Barnard

Joe Barnard is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ArchKey Solutions/Sachs Electric as well as the Corporate Vice President of Special Projects for ArchKey Solutions.

In his 30-plus-year career (all at ArchKey Solutions/Sachs Electric), he has been the executive, directed and/or managed projects in commercial, institutional, manufacturing, retail, industrial, and healthcare facilities including data centers, commercial and retail developments, airports, power plants, hospitals, and medical facilities. He has both regional and national experience in all project delivery types. Joe specializes in operational process improvement, contract management, labor relations, resource management and business strategy.

Joe has served on many industry organizations and committees. He is currently an Executive Board Member and Treasurer of the St. Louis Chapter of NECA. He sits on the IBEW-NECA Joint Labor Management Committees for IBEW Local 1. He is a trustee for IBEW Local 309 Pension Trust as well as IBEW Local 1 Health and Welfare Fund. Additionally, Joe is on the Board of Directors for the Gateway Region YMCA.

Joe holds Master Electrician and Electrical Contracting licenses in numerous jurisdictions across the country. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville.

Mike Hoppe

Mike joined ABB in 2021, as U.S. Product Marketing Director for the EL Digital portfolio. Prior to coming to ABB, Mike was the product leader for building controls at Daikin, and prior to that, he was a senior product marketing manager for the Home Comfort business line at Honeywell.

Michael Shumway

Mike Shumway is the Strategic Account Manager for Graybar Renewables in the Southwest. He is driving electrification by empowering electrical contractors to succeed in the EV charging space. By leveraging his expertise from working with EVSE manufacturing and charging networks, Mike collaborates with clients to develop innovative strategies and navigate the complex challenges with EV charging infrastructure. Mike is focused on helping electrical contractors succeed in this growing market by providing them with the resources and support they need. Simply put, his mission as it relates to the electrification of transport, is to ease the electrification process by offering an end-to-end solution for EV Charging and Infrastructure.

Alex Carey

Alex Carey is responsible for leading product development in cable pulling, fishing and material handling at Greenlee Tools. Alex leverages experience in construction, engineering and product management to create and share the leading technology and best practices from across the market that your jobsite needs.
