Biography
David started his inside wireman apprenticeship in 1995. Soon after turning out, he began running work as a foreman then moved on to project management. In 2005, he became the Assistant Chapter Manager/Apprentice Coordinator of Los Angeles NECA for the next 17 years and served as a Pension, Health and JATC Trustee.
In December 2022, David accepted the offer of Training Director at the Los Angeles Electrical Training Institute. The ETI boasts a 144,000 square foot facility and over 2,000 current students and 120 employees.
David adopted a Servant Leadership management style, allowing employees to have more authority in decisions regarding their department but also making them accountable for those decisions. This has allowed for a large but positive culture change with the students, senior staff and clerical employees.
