Available Dates & TimesThe 2023 NECA Safety Roundtable will include discussion on OSHA Leading Indicator Initiatives, Updates on Proposed OSHA Heat Regulations, and a preview of the topics for the NECA Safety Professionals Institute. With the assistance of members from both inside and outside contractors, Best Practices for Managing Safety Programs, and the discussion around Leading Safety Differently with a focus on Human Performance and Situational Awareness will also be discussed.
Biography
Mike Starner is the Director of Outside Line Safety for the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). Mike is a Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP) and an OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer. Mike has 29 years of operational and safety management experience in the electric utility field, including time with investor-owned utilities and electrical contractors before coming to NECA.
