For NECA Members Only – Register for Pre-Convention Workshops through the registration link for the convention. NECA Convention registration is NOT required to attend Pre-Convention Workshops.

This course focuses on the identification, installation, and programming of devices used in modern lighting control systems. The full CALCTP JATC course, from which it’s based on, elaborates on these items as well as the theory, design, and maintenance of such systems.

    Kevin Coke is a 21 year IBEW Journeyman Electrician. For the last 20 years is working with Morrow Meadows Corporation and has also been a Part-time Instructor at the ETI for last 8. He has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in Illumination from the University of Colorado. In 2020 he received his Certified Technical Educator for subjects ‘Building, and Construction trades’, and ‘Energy, Enviroment and Utilities’. He has held many roles at MMC like performing computer assisted layout(Trimble Operator) or assisting on the Lighting/Lighting Controls team, and he is a Certified Acceptance Technician with CALCTP.

    R. Michael Zehm started in the electrical construction industry with IBEW Local 11 as an inside wireman. He has held many leadership positions and currently serves as part of the Title 24/Total station group for CSI Electrical Contractors Inc. He also has maintained a part time instructor position at the Electrical Training Institute of Southern California for the past 6 years.
