NECA’s National Installation Standard: NECA 5, Recommended Practice for Prefabrication of Electrical Installations in Construction can serve as a strategic guide for all size electrical contractors. This session will showcase the key principles, benefits and best practices outlined in NECA 5 as well as provide contractors with valuable insight into the incorporation of prefabrication methods with a special focus on electrical inspection strategies.

Krueger is NECA’s Executive Director of Codes and Standards. He has worked in the electrical industry for over 25 years as an Inside Wireman, AHJ, and Educator. Kyle currently represents NECA on the NEC® Correlating Committee, Code Making Panel-3, NFPA 72 Correlating Committee, NFPA’s Electrical Section Executive Board, IAEI Board of Directors, and the UL Electrical Council.

Jeff Noren
NECA
Jeff Noren, RCDD, TECH is NECA’s Manager of Codes and Standards. He is a Master Electrician and has been in the electrical industry for over 20 years. Jeff was a full time instructor at Milwaukee Electrical JATC prior to joining NECA. Currently he oversees and manages the ANSI Accreditation process for the NEIS library, which includes over 40 installation standards that further define what it means to install electrical equipment in a “professional and skillful manner” per the NEC.
