This course offers business leaders in the electrical contracting industry a high-level look at emerging cybersecurity threats tied to Operational Technology (OT), IoT, and connected systems in all building types. Cybersecurity is now a scope of work, not just an IT issue. You will learn to identify cyber risks, understand liability and safety implications, and implement safeguards through secure design, installation, and planning, all while staying compliant and protecting business continuity.

Meet Kyle Krueger, a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the Electrical Industry. From his beginnings as a Journeyman Wireman to his current role as the Executive Director of Codes and Standards for the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), Krueger’s journey is marked by expertise and leadership.
Krueger holds a Master Electrician License, Commercial Electrical Inspector License, and Design Engineer of Electrical Systems, he is also certified thru NFPA as a Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP).
Kyle currently represents NECA on the National Electrical Code® Corelating Committee (NEC-AAC) and Code Making Panel-3. Krueger serves on NFPA’s Electrical Section Executive Board and as the Secretary of NECA’s Codes and Standards Committee.
