Negotiating contract terms can be a daunting task, especially when faced with general contractors who hold significant leverage. This session will cover best practices for negotiating contract terms while minimizing the risk of disputes and litigation. Learn common negotiation pitfalls and the best way to secure favorable terms, as well as key components of subcontractor contracts.

    Adam is a Florida Bar Board Certified Construction lawyer, and is currently the co-managing partner for the Miami Office of a preeminent national construction law firm.  Adam’s representation of contractors and developers includes contract negotiations, project administration and project close-out.

    In addition to his legal career, Adam has significant experience as an entrepreneur, working with start-ups and established business in the health care, fitness and personal hygiene industries.

    Adam will serve as an Adjunct Professor at the Terry W. Stiles School of Real Estate Development at the H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University, commencing in the Spring of 2020.

    Adam graduated with high honors from the University of Florida, with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, and earned both his Law Degree and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Emory University.
