Construction claims come in various shapes and sizes. Some claims can be easily and quickly resolved and others require the involvement and assistance of lawyers and construction experts. This session will strive to demystify the claims process for you, walking you through the various stages of the construction claims process, the challenges you may encounter along the way, and what is helpful to secure a successful resolution or result.

Tony is a construction litigator with three decades of experience representing public and private owners, general contractors, trade subcontractors, and material suppliers. He regularly handles major construction disputes for both plaintiffs and defendants involving construction projects of every kind, including power plants, educational facilities, hotels, bridges, high-rise residential buildings, prisons, wastewater treatment plants, parking garages, assisted living facilities, and other commercial and industrial structures. Tony counsels clients on matters concerning payment disputes, delay and disruption claims, payment and performance bonds, prompt payment statutes, and mechanics’ liens. He also serves as an arbitrator on the Roster of Neutrals for the American Arbitration Association, where he works with contractors and their counsel to resolve similar construction disputes and claims.
