Jason McCarty

Jason McCarty has over 34 years of experience in the electrical construction industry. He began his career as a material handler in 1991 in Portland, Oregon. He completed IBEW local 48’s five-year apprenticeship program in 1998 becoming a licensed inside wireman in both Oregon and Washington. He was provided with his first opportunity to run a project as a foreman shortly thereafter and has worked in varying degrees of leadership roles throughout his career.
From the years of 2003 to 2016, Jason travelled the world working on US Embassies and military bases. In total, he was worked as an electricain in 22 countries on 5 continents.

Jason is also the author of two construction management books focused on field leadership:
1. Construction Leadership Success (2011)
2. Effective Leadership Skills for Construction Field Leaders (2016, 2021)

Jason delivers a weeklong course to apprentice instructors from around the country titled “Preparing for Leadership” at the National Training Institute (NTI) held in Ann Arbor, Michigan each year. This course is based on and delivered utilizing information, materials, and exercises from his book, Effective Leadership Skills for Construction Field Leaders.

Kit Gaines

Kit has been with Leviton since 2010.  He started with Leviton as a Specification Engineer servicing engineers, consultants, end users, and contractors for network communications applications. In early 2024, Kit moved into the role of Construction Technical Specialist which covers all business units within Leviton which includes electrical, lighting, energy management, emerging technologies, and network communications. 
 
Before joining Leviton, Kit spent nine years working for Jordan and Skala Engineers where he established the Communications, Security, Audiovisual (CSA-V) discipline for the well-established MEP firm.  He led a team of designers and consultants that worked with architects, developers, engineers, and contractors.  Kit has designed many types of projects including data centers, entertainment and sports venues, theme parks, senior living facilities, hotels, commercial office, government, college-university, public networks, and mixed-use. 

Rachael Gass

Rachael Gass is an Executive Coach, Consultant by nature, and highly versatile skilled Facilitator. Rachael is passionate about ensuring people working in corporate settings have an uplifting, gratifying, and authentic experience. Rachael has spent over 20 years working in Healthcare and IT. She holds a master’s in organizational psychology.

Andrea Herbert

Larry Feskanich

Larry is a highly respected Senior Product Manager known for his expertise in product development for the MEP trades. With 17 years of experience in the field, he has introduced a variety of new products that have made contractors more efficient from design to fabrication to installation on the job site.

Larry’s work has had a profound impact on MEP trades driven by a passion for identifying problems and bottle necks and translating the needs into innovative products. He has been instrumental in developing the Greenlee Bendworks Application and many other strategic products that improve jobsite efficiency.

Larry holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Toledo and has a Master’s Degree in Business from Cleveland State University.

Bob Hall

Bob is an IBEW Journeyman Lineman from Indiana with 30 years in the trade. He has worked to gain experience in a variety of areas within the industry. He has worn many hard hats. Bob worked from groundman up to lineman at a Rural Electric Cooperative. He has been a lineman and then a Transmission & Distribution Superintendent at a municipal. An IBEW Construction Lineman & then a Director of Operations for an IBEW Contractor. He is currently the Southern Utility Contractor Accounts Manager for Buckingham Manufacturing.

Dan Shea

Dan is passionate about helping customers solve their problems and reach their goals. He combined his knowledge as an electrician with his project management skills to launch Shea Electric & Communications LLC in 2006. As COO at Shea Electric, his duties run the gamut from meeting with clients and developing solutions for their needs to providing guidance and inspiration to team members and ensuring projects are completed in a timely manner, on budget and to the client’s satisfaction.
 
A strong believer in education and self-growth, Dan is a member of TEC/Vistage, serves on the WI National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) Board of Directors, chairs the Fox Valley Division of WI NECA and serves as the WI NECA Chapter representative for ELECTRI International. Dan has enhanced his skills by earning a certificate in healthcare construction, attending multiple project management classes and several other educational seminars. Always looking to learn more, Dan seeks out opportunities to expand his knowledge and skills and encourages his team to do the same.

Aaron Baker

Aaron is a Solutions Engineer for OpenSpace, specializing in product rollout and implementation across a wide variety of customers and market segments. Prior to OpenSpace, Aaron worked for Turner Construction in multiple roles from Project Engineering, Superintending, QA/QC, Estimating and VDC. With his experience in the construction industry along with his 3 years in the Construction Tech, he provides customized solutions and technical advice to clients looking to implement 360 capture solutions throughout the United States.
