This session will examine “killer clauses” and explain how to draft and negotiate to mitigate risk. Learn identify problematic terms and clearly communicate concerns to legal counsel, as well as negotiate contested clauses to reach agreement.

Jacob Perskie

A litigator and legal counselor to businesses, Jake has secured significant litigation victories and advised clients on a wide range of regulatory, financial, and management-related issues. He has tried cases in state and federal courts, arbitrated matters before the American Arbitration Association, and has particular experience in appellate and government relations matters. Jake represents industry leaders in gaming, technology, health care, construction, action sports, specialty retail, and real estate development, with particular experience representing private equity-backed ventures.
