Biography

Mike Kufchak

Sergeant Major (Retired) Mike Kufchak is the former Sergeant Major of the 1st Marine Division located at Camp Pendleton, Ca. of which is the Oldest, Largest, and most Decorated Infantry Division within the Marine Corps. Where he served as the Senior Enlisted Marine Leader of 26,000 Marines and Sailors. He is also a Decorated Combat Veteran, having served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Upon his retirement from the Marine Corps after 32 years, He was hired by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (I.B.E.W. – Local Union 11), as the Director of Veterans Affairs in 2014. Whereas he provides transitioning veterans with the opportunities and options for careers within the Electrical Construction Trades. Mike Kufchak also co-chairs the International Veterans Advisory Committee where he represents the 9th District of the I.B.E.W. additionally, he also oversees the Veterans Electrical Entry Program (VEEP) and the Veterans Committee’s of the 9th District.
