To sit through a course on everything “Labor Relations” would take more than a lifetime. Instead, this session will work through some real-world Labor Relations challenges with subject matter experts. Hear how they navigated these tough situations and gain some of their knowledge and experience along the way.

Biography

Rose Haensly

Prior to joining NECA, Rose worked at Lafarge North America, Amherst, NY in Human Resources gaining extensive experience in Labor Relations. In 2007, Rose accepted the position of Executive Director of the Western NY Chapter of NECA where she managed the affairs of the association including duties such as labor relations, contract negotiations, member recruitment, and education. Additionally, she served as a trustee on numerous Taft-Hartley benefit funds and has been active as a trustee with the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. She remained at the chapter for approximately 13 years. Rose then began her role with NECA National as an Eastern Region Field Rep in 2020 representing 8 chapters in NY and ECAO in Toronto.
