  Joe Barnard

  ArchKey Solutions

  Joe Barnard is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ArchKey Solutions/Sachs Electric as well as the Corporate Vice President of Special Projects for ArchKey Solutions.

  In his 30-plus-year career (all at ArchKey Solutions/Sachs Electric), he has been the executive, directed and/or managed projects in commercial, institutional, manufacturing, retail, industrial, and healthcare facilities including data centers, commercial and retail developments, airports, power plants, hospitals, and medical facilities. He has both regional and national experience in all project delivery types. Joe specializes in operational process improvement, contract management, labor relations, resource management and business strategy.

  Joe has served on many industry organizations and committees. He is currently an Executive Board Member and Treasurer of the St. Louis Chapter of NECA. He sits on the IBEW-NECA Joint Labor Management Committees for IBEW Local 1. He is a trustee for IBEW Local 309 Pension Trust as well as IBEW Local 1 Health and Welfare Fund. Additionally, Joe is on the Board of Directors for the Gateway Region YMCA.

  Joe holds Master Electrician and Electrical Contracting licenses in numerous jurisdictions across the country. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville.

  Sean Lazarian

  ESSCO

  A third generation owner, Sean has participated in all aspects of the electrical construction company his grandfather started over 60 years ago. From fixing the company computers as a young boy, to estimating as a young adult, and on to his current position as CFO, Sean has continued to use his technological gifts to enhance company operations. He currently is a member of both the local Los Angeles Innovation Taskforce and NECA’s Innovation & Strategy Task Force.

  Mike Oakes

  First Choice Electrical Solutions

  Michael Oakes is an entrepreneur and founding partner of First Choice Electrical Solutions, which focuses on changing the lives of their people! This is accomplished by providing professionally installed, well-designed and financially responsible electrical solutions to our clients. By the way we happen to be a great electrical contractor!  He has 34 years of experience in a wide range of positions in the Electrical Industry. Michael is acting as the managing member of FCES (First Choice Electrical Solutions), focusing on daily operations and business growth, emphasizing team culture and development. He is a state license holder, graduate of Scalerator Entrepreneur Training, active member of the NECA (National Electrical Contractors Association) North Central Ohio Chapter, serving as a board member, a member of the negotiating committee and LMCC. Michael also serves on the NECA Innovation and Strategy Task Force. In addition to his FCES operating duties his plans include sharing his knowledge, his failures, and lessons learned with startup companies in the electrical industry. Away from the daily work routine, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife of 33 years Sarah, on the lake with their children Eryn (Zac), Tyler (Kayla) and Abigail (Spencer).
