Ronna Davis

Ronna is VP of Business Development for Voltserver. Ronna has been in the networking and telecommunication industry for 26 years where she has held positions in management, sales, and channel management. Ronna chairs the TIA SPEC, Single Pair Ethernet Consortium.

Amanda Comunale

Amanda Comunale is the VP of Construction Technology and End-user Engagment at ASC Engineered Solutions. As an AEC Operations, Technology, and Fabrication industry leader. Ms. Comunale’s career has spanned both the private and public sectors. Ms. Comunale has held leadership positions in contracting, software, manufacturing, and BIM services companies. Over her career she has applied a tech forward focus to the AEC industry to drive operational excellence with a focus on Fabrication, Continuous Improvement and BIM.
Ms. Comunale has a distinguished history with numerous national and community organizations, including service with the MCAA WebLEM+Plus Taskforce. She is also the Vice Chairman of the Stephen A. Comunale Jr. Family Cancer foundation, dedicated to providing gap financial funding to cancer patients and family members. She received a B.A. in Political Science from Union College in Albany, New York and her Executive MBA from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

David Manderson

David started with NECA in 1988 as a Staff Associate. He worked as an Assistant Manager in the Central Indiana Chapter. Following his tenure in Central Indiana, David managed the North and Northeast Texas Chapters. He then became a Field Representative for the Midwest Office. He returned to merge the two Texas Chapters in the late 90’s. He moved to Minneapolis in 2011 where he served as the Chapter Manager of the Minneapolis Chapter until January of 2024 when he joined the Western Region Field Staff. He currently is the Field Representative for the Southern California Chapters, Southern Nevada, and Hawaii.

Tim Becker

Dr. Timothy C. Becker amalgamates 3 decades of experience, ranging from field engineering to executive management and spanning from office trailer to lecture hall, to conduct practical research, specifically addressing the success of electrical construction. He holds degrees from Iowa State
University, Arizona State University, and North Carolina State University.
For the past decade, Tim held a director role at Kiewit Corporation including supervision of its electrical craft apprenticeship program and
electrical technical school.
Now as ASU faculty, Dr. Becker teaches undergraduate and graduate courses, specifically including Construction Planning and Scheduling. Starting July 1, 2023, he will serve in a leadership role as Interim Programs Chair for the Del E. Webb School of Construction. Dr. Becker has authored or co-authored 13 published journal articles and referred conference papers and has spoken at numerous national and international construction-related conferences.

Sean Lazarian

A third generation owner, Sean has participated in all aspects of the electrical construction company his grandfather started over 60 years ago. From fixing the company computers as a young boy, to estimating as a young adult, and on to his current position as CFO, Sean has continued to use his technological gifts to enhance company operations. He currently is a member of both the local Los Angeles Innovation Taskforce and NECA’s Innovation & Strategy Task Force.

Mike Dutoit

Mike is the U.S. product marketing manager for low-voltage power and insulated case circuit breakers at ABB Electrification — Smart Power Division, a global leader in electrical products and solutions operating in over 100 countries. With over 15 years of experience in the electrical industry and 10 years with ABB, Mike brings a passion for advanced circuit breaker technology. He is responsible for the overall product strategy, positioning, and commercialization for the United States.

Ian Andrews

Ian Andrews is the Executive Director of Field and Industrial Labor Relations based in Madison, Wisconsin. Ian has also served as NECA’s Executive Director of the Midwestern Region, a Field Representative in the Midwestern Region, Assistant Manager of the Illinois Chapter, and NEBF Coordinator for the Illinois Chapter.

Ian has been involved in numerous industry facets including being a Trustee of the Electrical Training ALLIANCE, secretary of NECA’s Workforce Development Task Force, Functionary and a panel member on the Council on Industrial Relations (CIR), a founding member of NECA’s DEI&B Task Force, and revitalized NECA’s peer group efforts for contractor members and association executives. Ian has a passion for uniting people and fostering collaboration for the betterment of NECA members and the electrical contracting industry.

Michael Starner

Mike Starner is the Director, Outside Line Safety for the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). Mike is a Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP) and an OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer. Mike has 29 years of operational and safety management experience in the electric utility field, including time with investor-owned utilities and electrical contractors before coming to NECA.

Sam Rokowski

Samuel Rokowski is the Director of the Maddox Training Institute & Construction Technology. He orchestrates training initiatives, virtual design and construction projects, layout, planning, and oversees prefabrication and acts as the UL Manufacturing Technical Representative for Maddox Electric. Samuel’s journey in the electrical industry commenced in 2002, where he embarked on a path of growth through Local 606’s esteemed apprenticeship program. He ascended to roles including foreman, electrical inspector, plans examiner, and qualifying agent before assuming his current position at Maddox Electric. Samuel serves as Principal for NFPA across various codes and standards, including the revered National Electrical Code and Nation Fire Alarm and Signaling Code. His expertise extends further as he actively contributes to five UL Standards Technical Panels, shaping industry benchmarks and best practices. Holding multiple electrical contractors’ licenses, Samuel is also a licensed plans examiner and inspector, a provider of continuing education, and NICET Level IV certification in Fire Alarm Systems. Samuel’s academic accomplishments include a degree in Fire Science, complemented by his graduation from the Innovation Institute’s Westinghouse Cohort, a testament to his commitment to innovation and progress in the field.
